ZMF Started in 2011 with Zach Mehrbach modding t50rp's at his dining room table.  The t50 era of ZMF, was defined by the tag “Ortho Magic”. Now looking to expand on that same mystique - ZMF has come full circle, with our first proprietary closed Planar, and Ortho Magic is back utilizing trickle up ideas from the early days, ZMF's current line-up uses fully patented acoustic systems to bring a sound that is truly dynamic, in a planar world.

Thee ADS system is now fully patented and fully utilized.  Three levels of damping plus a key electronic filter circuit make the Caldera Closed a segmented system filtering sound in both p so that frequencies are decayed and presented in as natural a manner possible.

DESIGNED, WITH TUNING IN MIND

Planar drivers are large and energetic, putting out a lot of air from their paneled structure.  With the Caldera's unique damping system and driver design, you get the best of both worlds, tons of dynamic driver nodal energy, natural timbre, and planar resolution and sonic density. With the optional ZMF tuning kit, front SaaTi mesh and different pads provide 12 different recommended tuning options that go from an aggressive ensemble to laid back and dreamy.
